Well now you can!
Offord Community Access Point, at the Offord Village Hall, has Volunteer I.T Tutors who can teach you these skills for free plus many more, including how to use Microsoft Word and Excel. The volunteers’ can also help with using digital cameras. The IT facility now provides free access to the Ancestry web site which contains all available census returns and indexes to births, death and marriages. Do note that we plan to hold an evening meeting shortly to demonstrate the IT facilities, particularly the new Ancestry one.
Community Access Points are public or community buildings where computers, colour printers and scanners have been installed for you to use or to receive tuition *free of charge.
The facility is available by appointment on Wednesdays during the day. If you cannot make an appointment that day we will try and arrange an alternative daytime or evening appointment.
