Who set up the website?
The pilot website was set up and funded privately by Graham Sherlock.. He lived in The Offords from 1985 until he passed away in 2008 and for 10 or so years was a Parish Councillor. He was involved in the establishment of the Millennium Green, and assisted with the writing of the book “The Offords Revisited”.
What about other Offord websites?
There have been attempts before to publish a website for The Offords. Also, in due course the Parish Councils may publish their own community website.
I have set up this website to solve an immediate need for publishing details and events of village organisations.
Is the website connected with Out and About magazine?
No. Out and About is an excellent magazine of church and Village News published every two months and delivered free to every house in The Offords. For more details, see Out and About.
