Helping Out
The trustees receive an annual grant from the Offords Parish Councils, but otherwise rely upon fund raising and donations to both maintain the Green and improve its facilities. There are many ways in which you can help:
Become a Trustee: there are 15 volunteer Trustees who bear the main responsibility of maintaining the Green.
Become a “Friend of the Green”: this is a group who would like to help out when called upon for example with working parties for fencing, hedge planting, or to assist with fund raising events such as the Festival or Bonfire.
Make a donation: the Treasurer welcomes donations, either single or regular, and if you are a taxpayer we can make full use of Gift Aid
Leave a legacy: the Treasurer can give you wording for a legacy in your will, whereby you can make a lasting contribution to the maintenance of the Green.
