Wind Farm
The planning office of Huntingdonshire District Council have recommended that npower withdraw the current application and reconsider.  There is no news of their response to this. The planning application can be seen:

Following the exhibitions in December 2008 we await the publishing of the Draft Orders and Environmental Statement - expected “early 2009”.

 

Recreation Ground

Offord Cluny and Offord d’Arcy Parish Council have now formed a Leisure and Amenities Committee.  One of its most important objectives is to progress the long hoped for Recreation Ground as soon as possible.  

 

Proposed new Aircraft Paths
The consultation has now closed on the proposed new flight plans.  NATS have a lot of information to look at but have put a review of their initial analysis on their web site.  Unsurprisingly the feedback has been largely against the proposals.

HDC Consultation on Gypsy and Traveller Sites
The planning office of Huntingdonshire District Council are undertaking a consultation regarding the placing of Gypsy and Traveller Sites for the Local Development Framework.  A copy is available to view in the Village Hall or on the HDC website.  The consultation process runs from 16 January to 27 February.
