There will be a further exhibition of the draft orders and plans at the Marriott Hotel, Spittals Link, Huntingdon on November 30 and December 1 and 2, with another one at the Cambridge Holiday Inn. This will show in detail how Costain and the Highways Agency propose to mitigate the noise and visual impact of the road.
Recreation Ground
Offord Cluny and Offord d’Arcy Parish Council have now formed a Leisure and Amenities Committee. One of its most important objectives is to progress the long hoped for Recreation Ground as soon as possible.
Proposed new Aircraft Paths
The consultation has now closed on the proposed new flight
plans. NATS have a lot of information to look at but have put a review of their
initial analysis on their web site. Unsurprisingly the feedback has been largely
against the proposals.
